Who We Are:
Peter Childers, BA, MA, SHRM-SCP
Pete brings years of broad and deep experience in general management, global learning services, training and certification, organization development and talent development. Upon earning his BA at Yale University Pete began his career in technology and human and machine learning as a research assistant at the Yale Artificial Intelligence Project. Pete has built and collaborated with diverse teams to create enduring learning operations at companies from startup to IPO to NASDAQ and NYSE listing, including Nortel, Larscom, Seagate/Veritas, Red Hat and Couchbase. Active in NGO/non-profit, in 2002 Pete co-founded the Performance Testing Council as a 501c(3) org with other leaders in performance and certification. Pete is a volunteer first-responder with the City and County of San Francisco and prior to that with City of Palo Alto, CA. Connect with Pete on Linkedin.
Rani H. Gill, BA, MA
Rani leads large-scale learning, leadership and change projects, coaching leaders and teams to build new capabilities. Using a design thinking approach, she seeks to understand people and systems to create insights and learning experiences. Researching, making sense, co-creating and understanding the context in which people live and work are core to her practice. Rani's ability to synthesize and clearly communicate goals keeps client projects on track and moving forward. In seeking clarity and inclusion, Rani facilitates multiple perspectives, experiments, and then helps the group choose a path forward – all with a sprinkle of laughter and fun.
Rani has designed and delivered solutions in learning and managing change for DukeCE, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte and for other major clients in accounting, consulting and corporate education. Rani has also worked on online communications and strategy for Duke University and for various non-profit groups. Rani holds a BA from Simon Fraser University, and a Multimedia Diploma from Capilano College. She earned an MA in Adult Education and Learning Technology from Columbia University.
